Felon to Mentor
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on August 4, 1985, to military parents, I was shaped by the contrasts of city streets and rural fields. My early years were spent between my father’s home in the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Projects in Cleveland and my grandparents' rural residence in Wooster,OH. In 1991, life took a dramatic turn when my mother moved us in with her partner on the other side of the country-Los Angeles. The culture shock was intense, but familiar struggles from my past helped me adapt. School was a challenge, especially when defending my homosexual mother against ridicule, but it strengthened my resolve.
In 2000, we relocated to Phoenix, AZ, a place that felt like home from the start. Here, I thrived, finally able to focus on academics and athletics, graduating with honors. I went to University for a year but I became a father, and after working in various jobs, including: a semi-pro football career, a Wildland Firefighter , and a tough stint in aerospace manufacturing, I realized I wanted more. I had grown into a selfish and arrogant man child and I did not like what I saw in the mirror. At that point in time, I had been arrested or detained over 20 times. I used weed and alcohol to cope with a plethora of mental health issues. At 31, I met a mentor who introduced me to a new mindset focused on abundance-guiding me to discover my passion for helping others unlock their potential.
Fast forward to now- husband,Father and business owner, are just a few of my titles. However, my priorities are clear: Faith, Family, and Serve. I am driven by my mission to empower others. Let’s find your WHYpower™️
